Flashobject 1.4 is released - also renamed SWFObject
Geoff has released Flashobject 1.4 which I hope improves things on the IE6 sides of things. We had a bit of a pain due to their new funky Active-X blockade.
More importantly, looks like Geoff is being asked to rename FlashObject. Using “Flash” in a flash oriented application apparently competes with Adobe products. It could be due to google ranking and such. It’s one of those silly things metacorps like to do to people to remind them how big they are. I wonder if Macromedia (R.I.P.) would have done the same thing.
Watch out Flash Gordon, you’re next.
